Made with wool spun and dyed in Maine, this lap throw is ready to be your fireside and winter reading companion. Handwoven in TCT’s Wiscasset studio, these throws are gently handwashed to lightly felt the wool. They are thick and breathable. Wool is sometimes known to be scratchy, on the wool continuum of scratchy to soft, these trend towards the soft side.

This throw uses five colors - three shades of blue, a brown, and a tan - to create a large checkered plaid.

Dimensions: Approximately 42” by 48” with 3” of loose fringe. Some variation in size is possible, as always, with handmade items.

Care: Wool is apt to felt if washed in hot water with agitation. To clean your throw, we recommend soaking it in an upright washer or the bathtub in cool to warm water. Use a wool detergent or shampoo. Rinse, taking care to not over agitate. Squeeze or spin to remove excess water. Dry flat.
