True story: this neon green yarn landed in the studio by mistake and it's not a color we'd normally gravitate towards. So it sat on a shelf within view for a good 6 months, while colorways and designs percolated. A delightful way to use this yarn revealed itself this winter, after months of imagining how it might look. The result is a bright, cheery turquoise/aqua blue dappled with neon dots and stripes. It's our reminder to give every color a chance!

It’s named after a type of romanesco broccoli. From the Fedco Seed catalog, "One of the most beautiful of plants when grown well. Chef Odessa Piper calls romanesco’s cone-shaped somewhat irregular whorl of chartreuse florets “broccoli on acid.”"

The tabby weave of this towel gives it a finer and more textured feel than some of the other towels in our collection.

SIZE and COLOR
Approx. 16" by 23” (size may vary slightly due to the individual nature of handmade goods). This photo is an example of this towel. The one you receive may not be 100% identical.

CARE
Machine wash in cool water with bleach free detergent and tumble dry on low. Avoid using fabric softeners and dryer sheets as they can reduce the towel's absorbability.

We've put a lot of love and care into our production process to give you a finished cloth that's perfect for your needs. We pre-wash all towels to shrink and bind the threads together so you can get right to using them - they're machine sewn and back stitched for extra strength.

PRODUCTION SPACE
The studio where these towels are produced is both smoke free and cat friendly. With their softness, absorbency, and appealing look, towels are our favorite product; they are the epitome of functional art!
